Morris & Betsy McKellar moved back to Mt. Pleasant in 1981, when he started J. M. McKellar Ranch. He has been a practicing physician since then also. Joseph & Jamie McKellar are employed here at the ranch. Bryan & MiMi Harrison live in Waco, Texas. Bryan is a practicing attorney at Harrison Davis Steakley Morrison, P. C.. MiMi is a labor/delivery registered nurse at Providence Medical Center. |

Joseph & Jamie McKellar were married on May 21, 2006. Elizabeth came into the world on July 13, 2009. Joseph & Jamie met at Oklahoma State University, each received degrees in Animal Science. Joseph specialized in ranch operations graduating in 2005. Jamie specialized in Marketing and Communications graduating in 2006. Jamie is responsible for ad layout and design and sale books for McKellar Angus. Joseph is involved with day to day operation at J.M. McKellar Cattle Co. with General Manager, Jason Heintz. |

Lee & Delores McKellar own the McKellar Ranch division of McKellar Angus. Lee moved to Mt. Pleasant in 1957 with his wife then, the late Ruby McKellar and started McKellar Ranch in 1960. He has been involved in many breeds including Red Brahman, Gyr, Gray Brahman, Fleckvieh Simmental and Black Angus. The Lee D. McKellar Retirement Dispersal is December 18, 2010 at the ranch. Lee has practiced in general family medicine in Mt. Pleasant since 1957. Mark McKellar owns and operates McKellar Embryo Services. He has performed complete embryo transfer services since 1981, and continues to be the embryologist at McKellar Angus. |
